The Rusk County Community Pantry was born to meet the needs of our community. Our long term food pantry closed, and there was nothing in place to fill the hole that was left. This sparked a group of caring local community members into action to come together and find a way to make sure that those in need would have access to food when it they needed it.
At the Rusk County Community Pantry, our mission is to provide nutritious food with dignity and compassion to individuals and families facing hunger in our community. We are committed to alleviating food insecurity, reducing waste, and fostering hope by connecting neighbors with essential resources, support, and a welcoming space where everyone is treated with respect.
